WHY SPIRAL?
Running laps around a 400-meter track for hours is, by most standards, insane. That’s exactly why we’re doing it.
Welcome to The Spiral, our 6-hour endurance track race designed to challenge your mind as much as your legs. The concept is simple: run as far as you can in six hours around a 400-meter track. And try not to spiral. No change in scenery, no finish line.
It’s the most accessible form of distance running: fast, flat, and the freedom to stop whenever you want. But also one of the most demanding. Because the real challenge isn’t in your legs. It’s in your head.
No matter how skilled you are, or how fast you run, you’re not going anywhere. The only things that shift are your thoughts, and the runners around you. Some pulling ahead, some falling behind, all caught in the same spiral.
You can wear headphones, or decide to leave them behind… Because The Spiral isn’t about distraction. It’s about presence and what happens you're left alone with your own rhythm.
Eventually, you’ll lose count of your laps: kilometers, miles, goals, they’ll all start to dissolve. You can’t get physically lost. But mentally? Who knows.
At the halfway point, we’ll switch directions. You’ll get a brief reprieve, a new perspective. And maybe, for a moment, you’ll feel like you’ve escaped the spiral.
You might find a state of flow. You might not. You’ll want to stop. But we hope you’ll keep going.
Because The Spiral is a pure test of grit. No distractions. No finish line. Just you, the track, and your mind. For six hours.
You’d be mad to sign up.
